How IPL works

Broad-spectrum light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and converted to heat, which disrupts the follicle during its growth phase. Because only some follicles are in that phase at any time, it takes several sessions.

Who it works for

IPL needs contrast between hair and skin, so it works best on dark hair with light to medium skin. It does not work on white, grey or very fair hair. Check the included skin-tone chart before you start.
